Mapping the world. Decoding the earth.
I am a Geoscientist and GIS Analyst with experience in Mineral exploration, Agriculture, Public health, Disaster risk and Environmental mapping. While the field may vary,my approach remains consistent: utlizing spatial data, rigorous methods, and producing outputs that tansform complex problems into actionable decisions.
I am a Geoscientist and GIS Analyst with an MTech in Geoinformation Technology (Distinction) from the Federal University of Technology Akure, in collaboration with African Regional Institute for Geospatial Information Science and Technology (AFRIGIST),and a BSc in Geology and Mineral Science (Second Class Upper) from Kwara State University.
Currently I as GIS Analyst at the Institute of Agricultural Research and Training (IAR&T), Obafemi Awolowo University, in this role I lead spatial data analysis for land and water resources management Program.
My expertise spans mineral prospectivity mapping, precision agriculture, spatial epidemiology, soil science, and cartography. I focus on delivering Rigorous, Reproducible, and Decision-ready spatial analysis and cartographic outputs that bridge the gap between complex data and policy action.
Comprehensive WHO/RBM 2024 indicator analysis of insecticide-treated net ownership, access, usage, and behavioural gaps across 67 LGAs in northern Nigeria. Spatial autocorrelation, hotspot detection, and bivariate choropleth mapping applied to ~161,000 individual and ~27,000 household records.
Integrated ASTER multispectral imagery, Sentinel-1 SAR, aeromagnetic and aero-radiometric data to characterize hydrothermal alteration zones, structural frameworks associated with gold mineralization in the Nigerian schist belt and creating a Mineral Potential Map
Multi-season spatial analysis of 11 soil parameters (N, P, K, pH, Organic Carbon, and more) to produce an integrated suitability assessment for crop cultivation planning at IAR&T.
Multi-temporal flood extent analysis using Sentinel-1 SAR (VH polarization) on Google Earth Engine for 2018, 2022, and 2024, capturing pre-flood and post-flood conditions for each year. Flood vulnerability zones were then mapped using AHP with nine conditioning factors: TWI, elevation, slope, drainage density, LULC, soil type, population density, distance to water bodies, and precipitation.
Production-grade topographic base map for Idah-Igalamela Local Government Area, Kogi State, commissioned by IAR&T. Includes full cartographic standards: contours, hydrography, settlements, and road networks.
Open to research collaborations, consultancy, and remote roles.
